Happy summer from BLOXHUB: jazz, tradwives and mushrooms ☀️

Published on July 9, 2026

Before we all fully switch into summer mode, we want to wish everyone in our community a wonderful summer.

To send you off, we asked around the BLOXHUB office for a few summer recommendations from our own community. Here are 3 tips to take with you into the holidays:

1. COPENHAGEN JAZZ FESTIVAL🎷

Recommended by @Annette, our very own BLOXHUB HR Manager. And if anyone knows what is good when it comes to music, concerts and atmosphere (and biking BTW!), it is Annette.

Her personal summer recommendation is Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Every summer, the city fills with music, energy and small moments of magic. Jazz shows up everywhere, in every shape, colour and genre, from big stages to small cosy corners across Copenhagen. Many concerts are even free, so you can simply follow the music and discover something new along the way.

In Annette’s words, it is “the best jazz festival in the world.”

2. YESTERYEAR

Recommended by @Lisa Marie, our BLOXHUB data cruncher and sharp-eyed finder of fascinating things.

YESTERYEAR looks at nostalgia, tradwife influencers, life without technology and the way we sometimes romanticise the past. A good summer read if you want something that asks questions rather than gives easy answers: What are we longing for when we look backwards? And what parts of the past are we conveniently forgetting?

3. ENTANGLED LIFE 🍄‍🟫

Recommended by @George Langridge, our in-house expert in ecological urbanism.

From tradwife nostalgia to fungi, because why not. Entangled Life is a deep dive into the strange, brilliant and completely essential world of fungi. Mushrooms, networks, ecosystems, hidden connections and bizarre biological intelligence. Basically, everything fungal you did not know you needed to know!

Wishing you all a lovely summer 😎
