This is the first in a new series where we spotlight BLOXHUB members and the projects they’re driving.

If you’ve spent any time in the BLOXHUB Members Lounge lately – or on Square – you’ve probably met Nana Piathip Saengduan. She brings the same warmth and energy to her work as she does to the community, both on-site and online.
Nana is the founder and Head of ESG & Sustainability Solutions at CIS Nordic – Curtain Impact Solutions, where she is on a mission to change how office spaces are furnished. Her focus is simple and radical at the same time: reuse what we already have – and do it in a way that supports both environmental and social sustainability.
We all need spaces to withdraw
Today, Nana took us across the canal from BLOXHUB to one of her projects in Sukkerfabrikken. Here she is helping a client move into new office space by reusing around 430 m² of curtains from their previous location.
The curtains are being resized and sewn to fit the new layout, and even the curtain rails are being adapted – resulting in an estimated 95% reuse of the soft elements that structure and create space for employees.
"We all need spaces to withdraw and recharge – and we can create them with what we already have, instead of buying everything new," as Nana explains.
What are you working on right now – and what problem do you solve for whom?
Right now, I’m working on several office projects, but one in particular hits the core of what I do. Together with an architect, I’m helping a large insurance company reuse its existing curtains as they move into a new building.
Instead of buying new, we review all textiles, assess quality, function and aesthetics, and see how they can be adapted to the new layout. It’s technically and creatively demanding – textiles are complex – but that’s where our strength lies.
For me, it’s not just about materials, but about the people who use the space: their wellbeing, ability to focus and feeling that the office reflects their values.”
What are you aiming for in the next 6–12 months?
I want to work even more strategically with circular economy, universal design and documented sustainability in commercial buildings – and to be involved much earlier in projects, already in the concept and design phase.
My goal is to collaborate with architects, facility managers, clients and companies to show that sustainable solutions are not a compromise, but a win: for climate, budgets and users.
I also want to contribute more to knowledge sharing. Universal design is still underused in interior design and renovation, and I see it as part of my job to raise awareness of how user experience, inclusion and innovation are closely linked to sustainability.
What kind of collaborators or connections are you looking for?
I’m looking for collaborators who share a basic belief that buildings and spaces are, first and foremost, for people. That can be architects, clients, advisors or companies who care about user experience, productivity and wellbeing.
My ideal partners are not the ones who have all the answers, but the ones who are willing to learn, challenge habits and develop solutions together. I’m not in this to ‘sell products’, but to create value in projects and for the people who use these spaces every day.
Why BLOXHUB matters?
Being part of the BLOXHUB community is vital to me as a founder. There’s always someone to spar with – whether it’s clients, tech experts or engineers. We have real conversations about the issues we care about, and there’s a strong sense of belonging.
Want to connect with Nana?
If you work with office transformations, ESG strategies, tenant advisory or circular materials, Nana is very open to knowledge sharing, sparring and collaboration.
You can find Nana Piathip Saengduan here on Square, or say hi next time you see her in the Members Lounge.
